Imnaha River "Blue Hole" 8/12

Still plenty of bull trout around the blue hole - but they have seen a lot of fishing pressure as of late. Best to camp at the hole and fish first light. The bulls are less inclined to take streamers, so some of the best action has been on small (size 18 - 20) nymphs fished near the bottom. In the evening bulls can be seen slurping tiny midges off the surface.
