Marr has been fishing great at all times of day, especially in the late afternoons and early mornings. we have been catching lots of 10-14 in fish on smaller sizes of stimulators and elk hair caddis. the bigger fish seem to not want to surface as much, so try sinking some small pheasant tails or copper johns for a bigger bite.

Wallowa River flowing through forest in early June The Wallowa River is fishing great this spring. CFS flows of around 600 allow both floating and good bank fishing. Guides floating the river this past week reported lots of "fat/feisty" trout in the 11" to 14" range. Right now, it is pretty much a stonefly/dropper nymphing scene, but salmon flies are just starting to show up - so consider using a big orange chubby as your strike indicator.
