wallowa river update: 9/27

despite being extremely low (150 cfs?) the river in the "canyon" is producing good quantities of large trout. a guide from eastern oregon outfitters actually floated it yesterday and his montana clients said it was the best fishing they had ever had. one of my rod reps also landed numerous 20" bows. the big fish were caught on tungsten pat's rubber legs and conehead streamer patterns. big fish are concentrated in the deeper holes/runs - every mile or so in the canyon.
